Good question Perzephone...

I don't know if there is any clear cut answer to the question of entitlement...I think much of it is taught but there are certainly emotional aspects that come from loss or trama.

In different cultures there is less of it,,and I suspect that lessening has to do with a more stagnant society..in places of great change, immediate gratification and less consequece to actions,,seeds of entitlement are born...

IMHO.
