I went to the local courthouse (they call it the Justice Center) and picked up a fairly substantial packet of forms for $25. Ours was uncontested with one child still at home and split everything 50/50. We declared our income and assets and filed it with the court ($200). No attorney, one parenting class, a short hearing, and 90 days later (Oct 15th) it was over. I hope and pray it goes as smoothly for you.
