Very hard. I've heard though that the "preventative" masectomies don't necessarily prevent it. I'm so glad it was caught in situ and isn't a regular cancer. Everyone has cancer cells in their body, it is just that some "happen" and some don't. I had in situ cancer cells in a polyp found during a colonoscopy.

I hope you have a counselor or someone to talk to about all this. It sounds really upsetting, especially with your family history.
