Hey Martyn,

I am Schizoid but undiagnosed. I am like 98% sure I have it. I am always in my room alone, I have not gotten a job, (I'm almost 17) just because I hate interaction with other people. The kind of job I want is to be the person stacking boxes in the back of a store (although I want to be a music producer when I get out of High School, which I am glad that job has little interaction with people because you are with a band for a bit recording and not like it's a new person every minute or so you have to deal with). I am the person at school with only a few friends, and even then, I don't really like talking much with them or being around them for long periods of time. On personality quizzes, I have always had very high for Schizoid. I have only asked a girl out once, but she said no, and even if I were in a relationship I would be the WORST person ever. I would be quiet and not know what to do next and it would be completely awkward. I understand what you are saying. I have also self injured a lot, and suicide is constantly on my mind. Pretty scary things.

What would determine in my opinion if you have Schizoid or not are:

1) Have you ever been in a relationship?
2) If so, how many and how long did each last about.
3) Do you enjoy most activities you do?
4) How many close friends do you have, or how many friends do you have?
5) Do you express emotions well? (this is the one that may lead to SI)

Those are somethings to just think about. They are some of the stuff related to Schizoid
