What kind of relaxing techniques have you tried? Have you considered a massage? Not just a get-the-kinks-out but an actual theraputic massage...release the negative energy in you, help you sleep. I know you don't like medication and I don't knw if that extends to herbals also, but if it doesn't you could try melatonin or valerian root at bedtime. You're a very slight sized person physically so maybe start with 1/2 of one so you don't feel groggy, but I've used both and my daughter uses melatonin when she's gotten out of her sleep cycle and can't get back in it.
