first things, first.......i had a dog, Henrietta Blue Tongue, that was half german shepherd and half chow. Henri was a marvelous dog. She saved my life twice. Shepherds rock!! That horseshoer has been standing with his head down for far too long..

it's amazing that there are people who own animals and they shouldn't even own a brick. carelessness with horses running loose next to a dangerous highway is ridiculous. i hope you said something to the stable owner!! i used to have a horse named "Monkey Face" and i loved him very much. he was named for a horse that was in the most fabulous book, "Monte Walsh"....Jack Schaefer wrote it..for the older folks, he wrote "Shane"........remember that stunning movie???
