don't beat yourself up about it, really. lots and lots of people, probably the majority, lose their virginity to some guy who turns out to be somewhere on the scale from "incompatible" to "a-hole" and is therefore the wrong guy. i personally don't think it matters much at all who you lose it to as long as the person you stay with is a good one.
