Broken, I can totally udnerstand what you mean by pushing away. I isolate myself and I start to dislike being around people. A lot of the times I think this happens for me because I feel unappreciated. I feel I put so much into the relaitonship and get nothing back...or the people think I'm bad when i did nothing to them. All I wanted to do was be there for them. Counselling helps you in that you don't commit to a relationship with the counsellor. You just open up about yourself and tell all your problems. It's all about you which may be beneficial for you. This will help you heal and resolve some of the underlying pain.

...you know that you are a straight A student and it doesn't matter what others think but what you think...you will get what you want from life...just ask for help...please get better
