The good thing about "in situ" is it isn't an emergency...it can wait for you to make some decisions and investigate.

I think you're over-reacting on the double masectomy. This is a simple extraction of small lumps who's cancer hasn't ventured outside of it's place nor into the rest of the body. Just do this for now and feel comfortable with it.

Usually radiation is done for several weeks and then the 6 months checks.

If it should occur again IF then you have had time to think about what you would do "IF" and won't be REacting to news. With technology moving along as it is, you may not ever need such radical surgery in the future either.

Think healthy thoughts. Your body completely replaces itself every 7 years...
