Brokenheart, I have read your other posts now and I can see all the connections. Your mother does sound angry and vengeful. I am sorry. You know, it isn't your fault that your parents split up (or your sister's). It isn't your fault that boys are thought to be more valuable than girls (the only reason these beliefs came into being is because the men had all the power and made all the rules to benefit them. There is nothing inherently more valuable about boys or girls. It's just a belief that was manufactured). BH, I hope that you can find it in yourself the strength to rise above all these troubles.
