hi ionic.. it is a truly sad thing for mankind when large events of sadness, damage, and tragedy occur.. many times these disasters are called 'acts of God' but this leaves a lot for the individual to try and decipher...

what is evident is that there is a large body of fellow humans suffering and the difficulty for us is that these people with their families and their children are such a distance away from us that at times we have difficulty bringing their reality into our own lives.. this does not mean there is a lack of concern, but instead it makes us stop to wonder what it is that we can really do to help...

i pray today for all our world to recognize the family relationship we all share and the burden that comes with any family relationship.. in many ways we are asked to care for and help our fellow people, no matter what area they exist in..

this might leave many of us wondering how to help or what we can do...

we can cultivate an atmosphere of peace.. by being peaceful first we can send a signal and a message to our own leaders what the thing is that we are trying to achieve, but if we remain confrontational and defensive, we will have no shortage of adversaries...
