The nicotine replacement gum was a major help in allowing me to quit smoking and I have been smoke-free for two years because of it. While it is just as addictive (and expensive) it is also much safer. You don't have to use it Paul (that is up to you) but it is at least one very viable option that is available to you should you decide to avail yourself of it. I wish you the best of luck.
