I had a CT scan on Monday and got the results today. I have arthritis in my ankle. I had surgery about 6 years ago where they put in 3 screws and the bone has a "step up". The Dr. described it as part of the bone that is at the end of the leg bone is not rounded anymore, it's sort of....looks like a step. IDK, he says if it still hurts, he could do a cortisone shot in my ankle...um...NO!

I have Plantar Fasciitis, too. He gave me this air cast thing that I just love! It helps so much.
Anyways, I just have to take it easy when I don't feel up to doing things and if I want to go on a walk I have to trust myself when it's time to stop.
Does anyone else have arthritis in the ankle? Which is better, heat or ice? Does Aleve really work or is something else better?
I am new to this and haven't researched, yet. I am hoping you all can give me your experiences and I can try different things that might work.
Thanks
