Hi Green. I totally agree with e-sort - if you fail or withdraw from this paper it really isn't the end of the world. I know how it is when you're right in the middle of it and this thing is hanging over your head though - it really feels like This Is It; if i don't pass this it is The End.

But, you know... it isn't. If you fail a paper, life goes on, and you either do it again at a later date or you don't. But life goes on.

Like you, I have skipped major exams before because I simply couldn't face them (I think a part of us when to the beach and made a hut during our final high school exams ) and at other times the overwhelming fear of failure has led to very self-destructive behaviors including su attempts. ANYWAY, the thing is, I can relate to what you're experiencing right now and if it is too much and you really just can't face it, it is OK to make a different choice. It's OK to say... I'll finish this paper some other time, when I am in a more stable place, when it doesn't place such enormous stress on me to complete it... Your health really must come first.

Seriously... if it is too much, let it go. To withdraw now would probably mean the loss of fees and the loss of a successful pass for now, but would instantly relieve the stress you are under because of your current inability to study.

It's ok to do that if you have to. Really. Your mental and emotional health is far to precious to sacrifice for a chem paper.
Thanks for this!
