for easier litter cleaning, i use litter pan liners.

(u can get them at walmart- Van Ness is the best)

they are like garbage bags made to fit litter pans.

you fit them in the pan and pour the litter on top.

to change litter just take out the bag, litter and all.

makes for as you say 'less gross stuff'
