Have you tried calling around to see if any therapists in your area work on a sliding scale? Your experience sounds very frustrating, I can understand why you are worried. Try not to give up on all therapists, just like regular doctors there are some bad mixed in with the good and there are also some really good doctors that just make mistakes, it's not their intent but they are human too.
