It's a shame you have to deal with this stuff. But, it sounds like it isn't directly your stuff since you said your group is doing ok. I know paranoia well. Sometimes it's a part of our mental health; we can be really sensitive about stuff and we absorb other people's energy so easily. When I was first in management, I knew they were talking about me! But, I told myself a couple of things, sort of like affirmations that helped. 1. Nothing anyone says about me can hurt me if they don't know me. Really the only people who can hurt you are the people who care about you. 2. It's none of my business what you think about me. These thoughts reminded me of my own boundries and that they are really stronger than I think they are.
