Really? You think you're an idiot?? I happen to think you are a very smart and caring and gentle and kind and loving young lady. One of us is wrong and I'll take bets that it's not me!! "why do I upset people?"....there is a saying that I really hate--mostly because it is so true--"People can't make you mad, you can choose to be mad (hurt, etc)." Meaning, you have made nobody mad. Maybe there was a misunderstanding, but they took your words and chose to let themselves be mad. I'm sure you didn't set out by saying, "hmmm, I'm feeling evil today, I think I'll make Sally mad at me. I'll try to help, but I plan on making her mad." Of course not, honey. Don't beat yourself up. If you think something you have said may have upset someone, talk to them, let them know that wasn't your intention.
