that is a very interesting thought, kathyanita...when i got my divorce 15 years ago, the worst part was no one wanted to allow me to grieve. we were married 16 years and i was the last to know what was going on with him. it crushed me. yet, people kept saying things like "aren't you lucky, you got to move to New Mexico"...yes, i was living there and i did not know a single soul other than three or four neighbors...so, i can't answer your question because i didn't get to experience it...
