i believe it would be a good thing to follow up with your doctor or pdoc about how you are feeling. i am aware of severe head trauma causing personality changes but this is IMHO, not a skilled professionals answer. it's worth checking out..particularly since you noticed the symptoms after the accident.
hopefully you will get some reliable answers. it would at least ease your worry about what is going on with you.
