Oh, Lithium--wonderful for mood--never felt like that before. Is that how everyone feels? I couldn't belive it! But kidney malfunction. Geodon--EXTREME DIZZINESS--like having to lie down on the floor at your place of business & you work in a public forum & EXTREME SLEEPINESS suddenly hitting you so much that people at work notice that a wake of exhaustion has passed over you & you have to go home only you fall asleep driving home & the only thing that keeps you from killing yourself is that when you veer off the road is that there is gravel & the sound of the gravel hitting your tires wakes you up & you get home & get in the front door & can't make it to the couch but have to pass out on the entryway floor...

God, side effects. Now I take Provigil to combat the excessive daytime sleepiness. Abilify (despite claims of "weight neutral" though I see they now are admitting to weight gain & diabetes--me!! 50 lbs. since being on it 10 yrs. & now diabetic, but it did get rid of the delusional thinking & paranoia--so how do you count the cost/benefit?).

So readjusting meds now--because had an OD due to husband's neg. comment about my weight gain 2 1/2 yrs. ago. BP stability but meds & causing weight gain causing depression & marital problems??

Luckily, with my therapy & DBT & actually my husband's coming to understand what an impact his comment had on me we are SLOWLY working towards appreciating what is right & good about our marriage which is probably 90% so we are trying to concentrate on that.
