I think it is even scarier when they seem to know you better than you know yourself.

Last week my T sent me an email attempting to prepare me for doing something new during our next session. She didn't disclose specifics, just critical info. She gave me just enough information so I wouldn't be (excessively) worrying about what it might be; but didn't tell me enough so that I could do a review of literature on it between sessions.
