So, it snowed last night and it's still snowing today. It's alot...for me. LOL

It's a few inches already and I wanted to go somewhere, but my tires don't have enough tread, I guess, cuz I stopped at a light and when it turned green I tried to go and ended up almost in the curb on the other side of the road! I knew the tread was not thick, but I didn't realize I have no traction.

My question is this....I have never bought tires before and don't know if I really NEED snow tires or if just regular new tires with good tread would work?

Last year was my first driving in snow as I was from California, so living in snow is still new for me. Any other suggestions would be welcome for driving or car maintenance for snowy weather, too.

Thanks
