Well it depends on what kind of depression you have, if you had situational depression it may never return or at least wait a long time to come back. Major depression is a whole different story but since you were only depressed for three months I think that you have more reason to hope then to worry. However it may return but you have learned some new coping skills if it does and now you see that things can get better.
