List the things that are the worst...things that have you feeling so bad....then next to them write anything you can think of that could change to make it better. Whether it seems possible or not. Make sure you focus on things YOU can change....you can't say
Mom is nagging at me---------->Make her stop nagging.
That obviously is just a simplistic example, but it has to be something YOU can control and the only thing you can control is YOU.

Try writing out things you would say if you were to see the counsellor right now. What would you tell him/her? Doing these may help you a bit...at least to put in focus what the issue is and how you can change it.

Home for the holidays isn't always what the songs make it out to be....but our life is what we will make it and I believe you want to make it so much better and I believe you CAN. Here with you to help you see you can do it!
