Hi it's me again. Well my son has been home from school 4 days now. Actually today was a snow day, but he wouldn't have gone anyways. I'm trying to understand all the different disorders he may possibly have. I can't say that he hears voices, but he believes people are saying things about him, teasing him and or conspiring against him. Everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault, and the person he blames may not even be anywhere around. He doesn't comprehend things like anyone else. He wanted something the other day that cost $12. He asked my husband if he could have it and he tried to explain that we didn't have the spare money right now, so he kept calling me at work, begging. He thought that we were hiding money in our room and told us to put it on our credit card. He doesn't understand that we don't have credit cards, all we have are our bank cards and if there is no money in the account there is no money. Nor does he understand that there are other things more important we need than something for his games. I seriously think that he has a developmental disability along with psychological disorders, but he gets so frustrated when they try to test him that the testing never gets completed or is inaccurate. I look at his writing and it looks like a 5 year olds. When he writes sentences grammer, spelling, and words are all wrong and in the wrong context. I'm sure that school is tough due to all of this. Kids are seeing him as fat, immature, and dumb. Since he has been off school he has been happier and less stressed. He is starting a day program at a psych. hospital on Monday. So hopefully it will help. I just wondered if anyone has dealt with, or has any suggestions as far as a child with behavior problems, anger issues, irritability, incapable of thinking logically, immaturity, lack of interest, non-social, I could go on and on. No one else understands his thought process, but me, sometimes I have to watch how I say things because he will process bits and pieces and come up with a totally different understanding of what is said, and make it negative. What could this be? What could cause it or help him?
