Are you in therapy? I would let her come to some of your sessions before going to couple's counseling. You both agree your marriage isn't in trouble, but she needs help coping with your illness, too. I would bet she has a lot of questions that you can't answer...but a doctor or therapist could.

I know how she feels as I am the spouse of a man with a mental illness. I attend 90% of his sessions and it's really helped us both. He also knows he has the right, at any time, to ask me not to come with him and I will respect that. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about her possible feelings.
