So glad you are here, doing well, and looking forward to Christmas! It's amazing to me sometimes how much children still long for that mother figure that never was, because that is what they need. Even with protectors and teens inside parenting them, it doesn't take the place of the mother figure, and they grow sad and don't want to grow. So I am very glad that your little peeps are doing well and looking forward to this holiday.
Our littlest ones are looking forward to Christmas too! They know they will get something and will have a happy time, with presents and treats. We are going to be with a family that has befriended us from church, and they really seem like wonderful people. They are so sensitive to peoples' needs, and it is great to see them give of themselves to people at church so freely. They have gone through a ton of stuff themselves, and survived, so we have at anytime access to them and their love. That is what we are looking forward to--being a part of a family again. What a wonderful thing a family is.
