I experience those kind of feelings too, I know it can be quite disturbing because it seems so real, like the feeling must be true. You are not going mad, trauma effects the way we see situations, I think that this way of thinking is a self protecting type of thing. If you see all these things that could go wrong the thinking is maybe you can prevent it or at least that is how it works for me. Sorry I have no idea how to put a stop to such things.
