What if you take a sheet of notebook paper, and just start writing, with no judgment or expectations?? Just take a minute to get centered and then write whatever pops into your head, no matter how silly it seems. When I do this (T has me do it to process anger sometimes), I am supposed to pick a number of pages and not stop until I hit that number - I usually pick 5, but I write HUGE and with crayons because I am angry

Maybe you could pick 2 or something.
Just see what comes out. And then re-read and see if there is anything in there you want to put on T's card.
Is it that you don't know what to say, or you are afraid of the vulnerability of expressing your feelings? I think, honestly, in the end, the second reason (vulnerability) was what actually stopped me from giving T a card. Which is so silly (for me) because T knows how much I love him, and where am I more vulnerable than in therapy anyway??
Good luck. And you don't HAVE to send a card if you don't want to, and that's okay too!
