Jewels, you can set up your own blog. Look at the title bar at the top, in the middle, and you will see the word "BLOG". Click on that. It will take you to the page where you sign up. At the very top, on the left hand side, it says "Sign Up". Click on that. You can start your own blog with the name you are using now and I think you can also sign up under a different name... but don't hold me to that for sure.

It seems each graphic, look, skin... for lack of a better word right now, works differently. You may need to experiment with those you like the best.
