I live in a really nice area of town....relatively quiet, clean, nice neighbors...kids and dogs etc etc. I really enjoy living here and feel very comfy here.

The other night, the neighbors had been drinking and decided to take a fight they were having out into the street. This happened around midnight. It woke me and my daughter up and we were just about ready to call the police when I said to myself...no...I will handle this. I stepped outside my door and saw 2 young women and a guy taking swings at each other in the street and yelling and swearing at the top of their lungs. I just yelled over them "KNOCK IT OFF!!!" The three of them stopped dead in their tracks and turned to look at me. I told them they had one minute to take it back into their home or the police would be called. My daughter told them we had a child sleeping here (my grandson was sleeping on the couch) and if they woke him up there would be hell to pay.

They quickly apologized and went right back into their home. I'm hoping that they also calmed down a bit and made no more physical advances towards one another. No one made contact in their swing mode before I yelled at them...they were too unsteady on their feet to be effective. *sigh*

So now, everything is cool....back to being quiet. That happened on Saturday night. So, last night I went to bed, everything is good....I'm sound asleep as are my daughter and her bf. I never heard our roomie drive in with his loud truck...so I really must have been sleeping soundly. At about 3:15am, all of a sudden I hear tires squeeling and a woman yelling at the top of her lungs and she's laying on the horn of her van. At first I thought it was a dream, but then soon woke up enough to realize it was happening in MY driveway!!

Down the stairs I run (not a good thing for me to do) and flew out the door. There stands our roomie, outside the drivers side door and it's his g/f or now ex- g/f who's been following him all day and waited for him to get home so she could confront him. OMG...I was LIVID!!! She scared the crap out of me and my daughter. The roomie had stayed away from my home all day because this woman had been hunting him down and he didn't want her showing up here. He figured it was safe to come home at 3am thinking she would be home asleep by then. Nope....not her.....she had to spill her hatred and ridiculous crap at my house at 3:15am and wake up the whole neighborhood in the process. Great...and this a night after yelling at the neighbors for their crap. Good grief....so much for safety and comfort in my own home...quiet and solitude has gone right out the window......

Roomie said he was going to come home at 5pm but decided he didn't want her coming to the house chasing him down. I told him it would have been better to happen at 5pm than 3:15AM!!! Daughter is going to find her today and let her know that she is not to come to our home anymore and if she does, we will be calling the police. (I hate to involve them in stuff like this, would much rather deal personally with it). This is such childish and ridiculous behavior....it's time to grow up and act like the adults that they are.

Guess it's time to find a place deep in the woods and hob nob with the wild animals....at least they have reason to howl in the middle of the night....and it's acceptable LOL. That, I could handle....................
