Well Blue, pretty much everyone I know one way or another has been affected by cancer. From this experience I can assure you that Leukemia ...no matter how many times it come and goes...will not kill your brother so long as he has the will to live. It's treatable and cureable, but it's sort of a pain in the butt to deal with  one of my step-dad's friends has been living with Leukemia for decades, sometimes it would get really bad...but then he'd get better and he is still doing very well to this day, he just has to be careful because he gets sick a lot easier.
