Sometimes I feel silly offering advice or comfort to people with the SAME diagnosis as me. I don't want to risk sounding banal or seem like I'm brushing off people's suffering too easily. On the other hand, I do have experience with this stuff and it would be criminal not to share it, even it doesn't apply directly to what other folks are going through.
