I see 2 T's.

One works at the university I go to. Her office is fairly small compared to my previous T's office. It has 2 very comfy reclining/rocking leather chairs. Her desk and desk chair. A little bookshelf. And a little "side table" that is between us against the wall. I sit in the chair that faces the window.

Sometimes, I wish it was bigger so that there could be a couch. To lay back and relax. But she's very big on eye contact and with her it makes me comfortable to do so. So it's kinda a good set up.

My second T has a huge office space. There's an open space with several chairs, a small book shelf with some pamphlets, and a corner table - which is where I typically do therapy.

Attached to that is a smaller, partly open space with lots of pillows and beanbags - with a large window. There is a small couch and rocking chair for kids that she sees. Typically my little alters use that space when they want to feel calm and close.

She also has a closed off play room attached. It's a huge space filled with all sorts of toys - blocks, houses, dolls, teddies, action figures, a white board, coloring materials, and miscellaneous toys. My littles like to also go in there to do play therapy to get trauma information to her.

I'm not sure I'd change much at her office. I like it very much. I like the smaller place with the pillows - it's our little safe haven.
