LLT, you're right, I've done all those things and none of it's worked. The state will only cough up $500 a semester to go back to school, and there are so many conditions that it's not worth it. (You have to train in areas of their choosing -- ones that will more or less guarantee you a job when you're done -- etc etc. Plus, even at a community college, $500 will pay for one class and books.)

I do have a T, who shortly will be going by the wayside as I can no longer pay her. Luckily, I can always come here and vent....

I have never been a particularly optimistic person, but being this much more pessimistic than usual is scaring me.
