I'll make this as short as possible or it would be a novel.

We have known one another for 17 years. We met in college and became good friends. He eventually got married. When he was married runmor has it that he had a photo of us on his nightstand. I saw it before they got married. when he divorced we became close again. This was after a period of about 3 years of being separated geogrpahically and of course he was married. we became close again after he moved back. I remained single.
He is a very successful entertainer and is gone ALOT. We eventually became romatically involved. We weren't like bf/gf to speak though neither of us were seeing anyone. In a nutshell he pulled away and eventually became close to another woman and I am not sure to what extent. we reamied in touch with one another.
He invites me to be with him on any important work event and we hang out from time to time. He is always extrememly affectionate and tells me he loves me. However, that's a sfar as it goes. He loves and me tells me how good it feels to hold me and always holds my hand etc. I eventually said something sexual and he said well if that happens you;ll hate me. That's been a while back though. asnyway, the emotional feeling we have together is amazing. No one can deny it. Even him. Well, when we do meet up it seems he just wants to hold me etc. But doesn't really want to talk and gets defensive if I can't go to some event. Saying things like well, that's fine it's not like I care. Then while were together he gets so quite as if he has nothing to say. I'm confused!!!!!
