Blue--I know you don't do churches, but I hope you don't mind if I do say a prayer for you and Jasper. Even one night is a long time to leave him there, so I understand your not wanting to. The only good part of him staying there is that 1) you know he is safe and 2) you know he will be getting the treatment he needs to help make feel better and possibly put this stupid thing in remission. Keep those thoughts close to you. Maybe you two can write to each other every day in a special notebook just for that purpose, then swap them when he gets home.
