Mini, I don't know if this would apply to you or not but many of us who grew up around dysfunctional people are intimidated when we start getting around healthy people. It can make us take a really good look at ourselves and if our self esteem is low we feel it intensely around healthy people. (Dysfunctional people don't see others so we can hide out in plain sight. Healthy people look at you and see you). This can be overcome. It might not even apply to you, I just wanted to give you a head's up to save you some anguish.
