it sounds like you are motivated! i like what gimmeice said. think you should follow up on any applications. they won't call you usually first so follow up...it makes you more noticeable from the other applicants. not having your ged yet is also holding you back. have you tried to apply at the county you live in, like a county job? less driving for you. also fast food companies, walmart, lowes, etc....must be some near you. low pay but it gets your foot in the door. best of luck to you...keep trying...you'll find something...
