Hey Tollstop (nice name!)
I ask in advance that you forgive me if I sound like your Mom in this post. I can see how badly you need and want a job, and maybe right now any McJob will do to bring in some money - but what you really need is to start laying the groundwork for a career so that you can be fulfilled and comfortable in the long term. I live in Canada where there are many programs in place to help young people train and develop skills. Have you graduated from high school? What about college? If you and your girlfriend are planning on being together for the long haul (which would be great - it's wonderful to have someone holding your hand when the going gets tough) the two of you should be supporting each other in your quest to get educated and skilled and start careers. (Whatever you do, don't have a baby just yet!). You should approach any and every organisation in your area that can help you - your old high school, churches, community groups, government organisations; do volunteer work, to gain experience and references and get you out of the house. Finally, you could try working for yourself - do odd jobs for people, heavy lifting, yard work; go busking with that guitar; offer guitar lessons.
Good luck - keep us posted on how it works out.
