I would suggest....

1. makeup - you could go to the mall and ask one of the girls at any of the makeup counters to give you some suggestions. Usually, they sit you down and show you how to apply it and what shades work best for your skin tone. They will probably want you to buy ALL the products but you don't have to. Buy an eyeshadow if you really like it or a lipstick and say no to everything else. If you don't want to do that go to the library and find makeup books there. They will tell you about shades best for your skin tone and how and where to appy. I like this book... Makeup Makeovers: Expert Secrets for Stunning Transformations by Robert Jones.

2. teeth whitening - I actually buy professional strengh teeth whitening kits on EBay. (shhhh!) They are really, really reasonable there.

3. eyebrows - I would go to a manicure/pedicure salon. They are on every corner! (Doesn't have to be the high priced fancy salon) All most all of them do waxing. Ask for an eyebrow wax and when the person is prepping you tell her you just want them cleaned up, nothing to thin or arched (unless that is what you want). Once you get them cleaned up at the salon it's easy to keep the shape by plucking or tweezing the new growth. I wax my brows about every two months and tweeze in between.

4. weight loss - Keep it healthy. Lean meats, grilled chicken, fish. Lots of veggies and whole grain wheat (nothing enriched) for breads, rice or pastas. Eat breakfast! Eat fruit and veggies for snacks. Drink lots and lots of water. And start walking.
