Sounds like you're putting together a good support team for you. Don't worry about all the stuff they're throwing at you right now... not all will stick, but in the meantime, hopefully they'll find something to help you feel better.
Tender points are what the physiatrist was checking. Fibromyalgia causes definite areas in your body to become hyper tender. If you didn't respond to the tender points, but instead to "trigger" points, then it wouldn't necessarily be fibromyalgia, but myofascial pain. It helps them determine the course of action needed.
