HI Rainbowzz,

I think this is such an interesting topic for parenting because I am working on attachment from the other angle in psychotherapy. Because of this I went to Barnes & NOble to look for a book on attachment and decided to check in the parenting section. There was not one selection available. Given that this is the single most important thing in parenting I would hope there would be more out there for parents--or is it just that the shelf was "post-Christmas" depleted?

Anyway, my kids are older but when they were young, they often slept in "the big bed." When I kicked my youngest out because he was getting big, he camped out on the floor of my room with a sleeping bag-lol.
I also remember my middle child was so anxious about me leaving for work each day, so I used to put on my reddest lipstick and give him a kiss on the top of his hand. He called it "lips," and it allowed him to stay connected to me after I left.
