you ask is this ptsd, its sounds like it - and your Dr thinks so - you have some really bad experiences - I am sorry that you had to suffer through that -



but am glad that you have had some contact with your children now - you are absolutely right - there was no way you could have known what he was about to do - try not to beat ourself up about it.
Keeping your neices and nephews at arms reach is understandable too - you suffered a great loss when your children were taken and so dont want to make the same connections with your neices and nephews, as these connections were so painful last time - but without connections life can be lonely.
You said you got help before - did you see a psychologist/psychiatrist/counciller as well as take the medication? they
can provide you with strategies to help you
Whatever happens, try to be kind to yourself and seek help - take care P7
