((((hugs)))) PTSD is an anxiety disorder. A new label won't change how you feel and act/respond... let the doctors worry about that. Do talk to the doctor about your heightened anxiety, he might wish to adjust your medicine?
Good that you've heard from your children! How wonderful is that...they DID remember you all this time!
