How very sad for the person who said that, Look at what hes missing. What he can not see. I have had Dyslexia all my life. Not as bad of a case as my sons. But it is there forsure with out a doubt. As i have always said it depends on how tired i am or stressed as to how bad it shows.
I would love Mr Stringer to explain to me and my son why he has worked to read and write and my sons teachers have put so much effort into him, and he still does not see it as others do. He says its " cruel fiction" have him explain that to my son too. Cause it is very real. Plus My son and his teachers have put their all into it.

I am sorry storys like this really get me going...
I have worked all my life. Held a job since i was 16. Before that did odd jobs for as long as i can remember. I have never even had a ticket. ((driving one))
Have this man call me and tell me its not real. Let him look threw my eyes...let him for one day look threw my sons eyes, see what he sees. Or anyone else who has it.
You do not grow out of it. You try to learn to cope with it. As best you can.
How very sad ........................
sorry this is so close to my heart.
