Try to wipe out the "what ifs" and try Parker10's suggestion of "so what if?" Maybe that will help.
Seminars just involving sitting and listening, right? As long as you don't have to give a presentation to be nervous about, just breathe and relax. (If it's a boring seminar, hopefully your nervousness will keep you from nodding off from your lack of sleep last night
