roxxy, thank you so much! that's good to know! i have such thin, fine hair and hadn't had a perm in 12-15 years so i thought i would get a "body" perm. i have enough natural wave that i can scruch and make it look like a body perm, but it takes a while. i want easier. so, i went to the salon and fixed it the way i wanted it to look. she fried me! frizzy tight curls i walked into my house with a mcdonald's bag over my head i was so ashamed and looked like a freak.

everyone said she used the wrong rods (white). i dunno. she just messed me up. i'm using the big, huge curling iron and can do ok now, after massive conditioning. also, the front row (bangs) now feels like a man's stubble she really did a horrible job
