Hi Friends,

In an effort to keep my Great Dane from killing a possum, who had wandered up on our back deck in the early afternoon, I wound up banging my head between the door frame, and the back door.

I was successful in keeping the possum alive, he immediately played dead, after my Great Dane put his jaws around him. I have since seen him walking around (the possum), so he lives.

I wound up going to the ER after my mishap. I was diagnosed with a mild concusion and sent home. My symptoms have continued to change around, with some new ones surfacing. I was told by a nurse at my doctor's office, I will probably have symptoms for two weeks. Well I'm at the beginning of my second week.

I saw my regular physician in the office on Friday, for yearly maintenance. I told her about my concusion, and how I felt like I was walking at a slight angle on Thursday, when I had to make my 70-mile trek (oneway) to the campus to teach. She sent me over for a CAT scan, which I passed, as in no slow bleeding.

I just can't put my thoughts and words together as quickly as usual, although I had a GREAT first class on Thursday.

Anyone else been down this road?
